JIS D0203 R1/R2/S1/S2 Rain and Spray Test Chamber for Auto Parts

JIS D0203 R1/R2/S1/S2 Rain and Spray Test Chamber for Auto Parts

Introduction

The waterproof test chamber is designed to meet the test requirements of JIS D0203 for R1/R2/S1/S2 tests and IEC60529 for IPX3/IPX4/4K tests. The rotating tube with 2 rain nozzles for R1/ R2 rain tests, the rotating tube with 40 spray nozzles for S1/S2 spray tests, both are strictly designed according to JISD0203. The oscillating tube for IPX3/4 testing is strictly designed according to IEC60529, the tube radius is R400 which has 25 nozzles and 0.4 diameter. This equipment puts the coil and the swing tube in a test chamber, R1, R2, S1, S2 tests can be carried out separately or simultaneously, and IPX3, IPX4, IPX4K tests can be carried out separately. A waterproof socket-outlet for specimen is attached on the wall of the test chamber to support live test, the front panel is transparent for easy observation of the experimental process.

How to conduct the ESD test?

What is ESD test? Electrostatic discharge immunity test is a basic EMC test . S tandard IEC61000-4-2 provide the immunity requirements and test methods for electrical and electronic equipment subjected to static electricity discharges, from operators directly, and to adjacent objects . T he standard establish a common and reproducible basis for evaluating the performance of electrical and electronic equipment when subjected to electrostatic discharges. Electrostatic discharge is a transfer of electric charge between bodies of different electrostatic potential in proximity or through direct contact. The standard IEC61000-4-2 does not intend to specify the tests to be applied to particular apparatus or system, it is to give a general basic reference to all concerned product .   S o before conduct the test, an appropriate test level should be selected according to the product's characters and its working occasion.   Contact discharge and air discharge methods The test leve...

The relationship between standards IEC62262 and IEC60068-2-75

The IK code is a coding system to indicate the degree of protection provided by an enclosure against harmful external mechanical impacts. The standard IEC62262 defines the impact energy corresponding to different IK codes. In general, the degree of protection applies to the complete enclosure. If parts of the enclosure have differing degrees of protection, the latter shall be indicated separately.
