GB/T 1002-2021 Single Phase 2-Pole Plug and Socket-Outlet Test Gauges

 GB1002 Single-Phase Plug and Socket-Outlet Gauges

1. Introduction

The single phase plug and socket-outlet test Gauges are designed according to GB1002-2021 figures 8/9/10/11/12/13/14/15/16. They are applicable to verify the single phase plugs and fixed or mobile socket-outlets for household with an AC frequency of 50 Hz, rated voltage of 250 V, rated current not exceeding 16A.

The pins of the plug shall be able to pass the gauges shown in Figures 8 and 9. If the plug pin is provided with an insulating sheath, the insulating sheath part does not need to pass the gauge in Figure 8 and Figure 9.

The plugs can smoothly plug-in and pull out in vertical and horizontal directions with a small force shows qualified, Otherwise, the distance between the pins or the inclination and position of the pins do not match.

Note: The insertion force should not be greater than the maximum withdrawal force specified in GB/T2099.1.

The Go Gauges shall be able to insert into the jacks of the socket-outlet.

The Go Gauges can smoothly insert into the jacks of the socket-outlet in verticall directions with a small force shows qualitified. Otherwise, the spacing, inclination, position, jacks of the socket-outlet do not match.

Note: The insertion force should not be greater than the maximum withdrawal force specified in GB/T2099.1.

Not Go Gauge for Single Pin of Single Phase Socket-Outlet (10A, 16A)

2

The Not Go Gauge shall be not able to insert into the jacks of the socket-outlet.

The Not Go Gauge can not smoothly insert into the jacks of the socket-outlet in vertical direction with a small force shows qualitified. Otherwise, the size of jacks of the socket-outlet do not match.

Note: The insertion force should not be greater than the maximum withdrawal force specified in GB/T2099.1.

Non-Contact Gauge for Single Phase Two-Pole Socket-Outlet (10A)

1

Th Non-Contact Gauges shall not be able to contact the live kits of socket-outlet.

The non-contact gauges can smoothly insert into the jacks of the socket-outlet in vertical and horizontal directions with a small force, but cannot contact the copper sets (female terminal) shows qualified, Otherwise, the sizes of the socket-outlet does not match.

Note: The insertion force should not be greater than the maximum withdrawal force specified in GB/T2099.1.

The contact gauge shall be able to contact the live kits of socket-outlet.

The contact gauges can smoothly insert into the jacks of the socket-outlet in vertical and horizontal directions with a small force and  contact the copper sets (female terminal) shows qualified, Otherwise, the sizes of the socket-outlet does not match.

Note: The insertion force should not be greater than the maximum withdrawal force specified in GB/T2099.1.

How to conduct the ESD test?

What is ESD test? Electrostatic discharge immunity test is a basic EMC test . S tandard IEC61000-4-2 provide the immunity requirements and test methods for electrical and electronic equipment subjected to static electricity discharges, from operators directly, and to adjacent objects . T he standard establish a common and reproducible basis for evaluating the performance of electrical and electronic equipment when subjected to electrostatic discharges. Electrostatic discharge is a transfer of electric charge between bodies of different electrostatic potential in proximity or through direct contact. The standard IEC61000-4-2 does not intend to specify the tests to be applied to particular apparatus or system, it is to give a general basic reference to all concerned product .   S o before conduct the test, an appropriate test level should be selected according to the product's characters and its working occasion.   Contact discharge and air discharge methods The test leve...

The relationship between standards IEC62262 and IEC60068-2-75

The IK code is a coding system to indicate the degree of protection provided by an enclosure against harmful external mechanical impacts.
