AC/DC Withstand Voltage and Insulation Resistance Tester

AC/DC Withstand Voltage and Insulation Resistance Tester 1.  Introduction HY9320 withstand voltage and insulation resistance tester is a kind of electric safety test equipment, it is widely used in the fields of household appliance, transformer, electric appliance, components and etc. to check the safety performance (voltage withstand test and insulation resistance test). The tester has the features of small volume, nice appearance and simple operation.  Contact us to get the formal quotation    2. Features ● Meet the requirements of CCC, IEC, EN, VDE, BS, UL, JIS standards. ● 4.3 inch TFT-LCD display, simple panel operation ● Voltage ramp up, ramp down function. Holding time can be set arbitrarily for insulation resistance test. ● Preset up and lower alarming value, there is an audible and visual alarm when exceeds the limit ● The DC withstand voltage test has a rapid discharge function to avoid the danger of electric shock caused by the residual voltage ● W...

What is the difference between withstand voltage test and leakage current test?

In the safety inspection items , the current test item include withstand voltage test and leakage current test , a nd both tests are for the current of the insulating part. But in the actual test, there are many cases where both the withstand voltage test and the leakage current test need to be carried out. Why? A nd w hat is the difference between a withstand voltage test and a leakage current test?   Difference 1: voltage applied to the test is different. The difference between the withstand voltage test and the leakage current test is mainly in the voltage applied to the EUT. The voltage applied in the withstand voltage test is much higher than the rated voltage , t he test is between the live   & neutral wire and the electrical enclosure , i t mainly tests the insulation performance of the electrical appliance. The leakage current test is to apply a 1.06 times   of rated voltage to EUT, and check if there is a leakage current between live wire and ground ...
