Socket Outlet Maximum and Minimum Withdrawal Force Testing Equipment

Maximum and minimum withdrawal force testing equipment is designed according to IEC60884 figure 18/19 and VDE0620, it is applied to evaluate the maximum and minimum pull-out force of the socket. The apparatus is suitable for plugs and sockets with rated voltage not exceeding 250V and rated current less than 16A. The test plugs made of hardened steel with roughness not exceeding 0.8mm.

This device is composed of the clamping device under the mounting plate A, the principal weight F, the supplementary weight G and the test plug C.

Maximum withdrawal force: apply the maximum withdrawal force specified in the standard (the total force of the principal weight, the supplementary weight, the hook (clamping device), and the test plug) to the test plug(multi-pin gauge), and the plug should come out of the socket.

Minimum withdrawal force: insert the gauge (single pin gauge) of the minimum withdrawal force specified in the standard ( the total mass of the pin should be equal to the value specified in the standard) into each individual hole in the socket, in this case, the gauge shall not come out of the socket within 30 seconds.

UL746A High Current ARC Ignition Test Apparatus 32.5A/COSφ0.5

UL746A High Current ARC Ignition Test Apparatus 32.5A/COSφ0.5   1.  Introduction: The high current arc ignition tes t apparatus is designed according to  IEC60950-1:2001  clause 4.7.3.6 , BS/EN60950-1:2001, BS7002:2001, GB4943-2001 and UL746A, IEC60947.1:1999, GB/T14048.1-2000, IEC730.1:1993, GB14536.1-1998 and etc..  It ’ s used to measure and assess  solid insulating material against to resistance to ignition from arcing electrical sources. A power 240V(AC)/60Hz is to be supplied to the test electrodes  (fixed electrode and movable electrode) , a series (inductive-resistive) air core impedance is to be provided to yield a short circuit current of 32.5A and a power factor of 0. 5. The sample is be to positioned with the electrodes making initial contact on the surface of the sample, the circuit is to be energized and the cyclic arcing started. The timing of arcs is to be adjusted to a rate of 40 arcs/min, the rate of electrode separation is to be 254±...

what equipment can be used for IPX3 and IPX4 water ingress protection test?

1. Spray nozzle 1.  Introduction The spray nozzle hand-held device is designed according to IEC60529 figure 5, it is it is apply to verify the protection against spraying water (IPX3) and splashing water (IPX4) for large size sample. The hand-held device is consisted by spray nozzle, moving shield, counterweight, hose and pressure gauge. The spray nozzle is made of brass and has 121 holes with diameter 0.5mm (1 hole at center, 1 inner circles of 12 holes at 30 0  pitch, 4 outer circles of 24 holes at 15 0 pitch). The moving shield is made of aluminum, the counterbalanced shield is in place for IPX3 test, the water pressure is adjusted to give the specified delivery rate, the pressure to achieve this delivery rate will be in the range of 50kPa to 150kPa, and it should be kept constant during the test, the test duration is 1min/m 2  of the calculated surface of the enclosure and with a minimum duration of 5 min. For IPX4 test, the counterbalanced shield is removed fro...
