IEC60529 IPX1 and IPX2 vertical drip box

Introduction:
IPX1-2 Drip Box is designed according to IEC60529 clause 14.2.1 and 14.2.2. It is applied to simulate the conditions of vertically dripping and dripping with 15 degrees tilted, and then to check if the products ( electronics, luminaire, electric components, auto parts and etc.) can meet the requirements. The equipment can be customized according to size of test specimen .

Features:
1. For IPX1 and IPX2 testing
2. Adopts column structure, which can be fixed on floor and runs stability. Easy to pack and install.
3. The shell and turntable are made by SUS304 stainless steel, to ensure the rustless for long time use.
4. Equip with flowmeter, can accurately manual adjust the flowmeter.
5. The cone-sharp nozzles are made by brass, and easy to change. The stainless steel protective cover under the nozzles can protect user from any hurts.
6. Equip with high accuracy filter, the filter element can change regularly.
7. The drip board can lift, and will auto stop at the position of 200mm upper of the test specimen.
8. Control system: 7 inch touch screen+ Panosonic PLC.

How to conduct the ESD test?

What is ESD test? Electrostatic discharge immunity test is a basic EMC test . S tandard IEC61000-4-2 provide the immunity requirements and test methods for electrical and electronic equipment subjected to static electricity discharges, from operators directly, and to adjacent objects . T he standard establish a common and reproducible basis for evaluating the performance of electrical and electronic equipment when subjected to electrostatic discharges. Electrostatic discharge is a transfer of electric charge between bodies of different electrostatic potential in proximity or through direct contact. The standard IEC61000-4-2 does not intend to specify the tests to be applied to particular apparatus or system, it is to give a general basic reference to all concerned product .   S o before conduct the test, an appropriate test level should be selected according to the product's characters and its working occasion.   Contact discharge and air discharge methods The test leve...

The relationship between standards IEC62262 and IEC60068-2-75

The IK code is a coding system to indicate the degree of protection provided by an enclosure against harmful external mechanical impacts. The standard IEC62262 defines the impact energy corresponding to different IK codes. In general, the degree of protection applies to the complete enclosure.
