How to choose a right black test corner?

The black test corner is designed according to IEC60335-1 chapter 11 “heating”. It is applied to provide a standard required conditions for temperature rising test of electric appliance. The Black Test Corner is used for the measurement of the temperature radiated by different equipment during the tests from heating and abnormal operation. One is designed and made with the intention of determining the fulfillment of different standards as far as the registry from temperatures during the operation of the apparatus under test. The Black Test Corner is conformed by a trihedral or tetrahedron one of black painting plywood, with a matrix of holes each 100 mm that allow to adapt thermocouples of measurement easily, specially designed for such case. The dimension of the test corner can be customized as per the specimen, the test corner is consisted by two side plates, one bottom and one top plate (top plate is selectable), the top plate can be removed or fixed, bottom plate mounted on a ...

Dust and Sand Test

The dust and sand test is structured into three groups   in standard IEC60068-2-68 : La:  non-abrasive fine dust. A test which is primarily oriented towards investigation of the seals of the test specimen. The test specimen is exposed to a very fine dust in the form of talc or an equivalent. The effects of temperature cycling resulting in a pressure difference between the inside and outside of the specimen may be reproduced. Lb:  Free setting dust. A test which is oriented towards investigation of the effects when simulating conditions at sheltered locations. The test specimen is exposed to a low-density dust atmosphere created by the intermittent injection of a small quantity of dust which is allowed to fall by gravity onto the specimen. Lc: Blown dust and sand. A test which is oriented towards investigation of the seals and the effect of erosion when simulating outdoor and vehicle conditions. The test specimen is exposed to either a turbulent or a laminar air flow to wh...

ISO16750-4 Ice Water Spray Test Chamber with Slot Jet Nozzle

1.Introdution The splash water test chamber meets the requirement of ISO16750-4 clause 5.4.2. It can be used for splash water or high temperature test alone, to simulate ice water splashing over a hot system or components when driving on wet roads in the winter. Failure modes are mechanical cracking of materials or seal failures caused by different temperature expansion coefficients. I’ts a reliability testing equipment for cold resistance, heat resistance, ice water splash resistance test and quality control engineering of various electronic, electrical, plastic and other raw materials and devices. 2.Features: ● For ice water splash resistance test ● The inner wall of the equipment are made by SUS316# stainless steel, to ensure rustless. ● Thermal insulation material: high-density glass fiber cotton to ensure thermal insulation performance and maintain a balanced and stable temperature in the chamber. ● Equip with a transparent observation window (multi-layer hollow tempered glass) ...

A Comparison of the New and Old Standards for the Glow Wire Apparatus

The IEC60695-2-10 standard is a common test method for testing the flame retardant performance of materials used in electrical products. During use, the product may reach excessive temperatures due to overload, short circuit, electrical contact or other fault conditions that can cause a fire hazard. The glow wire test is to simulate the overloaded resistance heat source to apply thermal stress to the sample in a short time, and to evaluate the fire risk of the sample through observation and measurement. The glow wire test is suitable for resarching, production and quality inspection departments of electrical and electronic products, such as lighting equipment, low-voltage electrical appliances and household appliances, machine tool appliances, motors, electric tools, electronic instruments, electrical instruments, information technology equipment, electrical equipment and their components, and also applicable to insulating materials, engineering plastics or other solid combustible mat...

A Korea Customer Bought the Finger Probes and Spring Hammers from Us

Bluenix is a comany from South Korea, They sent us an inquiry before the Chinese New Year about the finger probes and spring hammers , and confirmed the order very quickly although we have told them we would have a long holidays, the customer trust us and made the payment in time. We processed the customer's order immediately after the Spring Festival holiday and delivered the goods in time. Recently, the customer has received the goods and shared the pictures of the goods with us. We are very grateful to our customers for their trust, and we will certainly live up to the trust of every customer. An IK08/5J spring hammer was included in their order. IK08/5J spring hammer is not a standardized equipment recommended by IEC60068-2-75, normally 2J or below impact energies will be recommended to use spring hammer, and 2J or above impact energies will be recommended to use vertical hammer or pendulum hammer , the vevrtical hammer or pendulum hammer has limits to the specimen that c...

Detailed Explain, Application and Test Apparatus of IK code testing

What is the IK code (Degrees of protection provided by enclosures for electrical equipment against external mechanical impacts )? According to IEC62262 standard, it refers to the classification of the degrees of protection provided by enclosures against external mechanical impacts when the rated voltage of the protected equipment is not greater than 72.5KV. It use the IK code to indicate the degree of protection provided by an enclosure against harmful external mechanical impacts. In cases where the relevant product committee decides that the marking of the IK-code shall be required, the marking requirements shall be detailed in the relevant product standard. Where appropriate, such a standard should also specify the method of marking which is to be used when - one part of an enclosure has a different degree of protection to that of another part of the same enclosure - the mounting position has an influence on the degree of protection. The degree of protection provided by an enclosur...
